Our orangeries have been installed throughout Europe, and as a result exposed to a wide range of weather conditions and environments, experiencing large changes and differentials in temperatures and often high levels of humidity. Our craftsmen use traditional joinery techniques and construction methods, in particular exceptionally robust mortice and tenon joints throughout, and combining this with the best materials and authentic classical details produces stylish, structurally resilient buildings with a long life expectancy.

Since all of our orangeries are individually designed and manufactured, the choice of window patterns is an important contributor to their visual identity.

The success of many projects requires the design and manufacture of unique and original details often involving the creation of new timber profiles.

Our windows and doors open outwards as standard, and can be located wherever the design requires. They are mounted with best quality heavy-duty polished brass hinges and bolts. Windows are generally top-hung to optimize air movement and allowing them to stay open during light rain and wind. Side-hung and traditional sliding sash windows can be offered as an alternative. A wide range of specialized finishes and accessories are available, including antique and matt lacquered brass, bronze in a variety of finishes, polished and matt nickel and chrome and matt black.
